Project Cycle All our projects are managed by our regional and local staff in close cooperation with our partners. Together, we develop the Kyoto component of the projects and bring them step by step through the maturity cycle which consists of three major phases:
- "Under Validation": Independent third parties, so-called DOEs, validate that a project’s design complies with the rules of the United Nations.
- "submitted for Registration": These projects have successfully undergone Validation and have entered the bureaucratic process to get approved and registered by the United Nations.
- "Registered": Registered projects have been approved by the United Nations and can start generate CERs
Gold Standard The Gold Standard Foundation has established a well-recognized quality standard for emission reduction projects. Tricorona supports the Gold Standard as a main sponsor and seeks to register more and more projects under that label.
