Comparing offset types


This table compares some of the atrtributes of non-certified carbon offsets (Voluntary Emissions Reductions, or VERs), Certified Emissions Reductions from CDM projects (CERs) and Gold Standard CERs.

All of the projects available on this website meet the criteria in the last column. The projects are registered as CDM projects and are in the process of being registered as Gold Standard projects.
