Technology transfer

One of the goals of the Kyoto protocol and the flexible mechanisms is to encourage technology transfer between industrialized countries and developing countries (CDM projects) and between industrialized countries (JI projects). An expert group for technology transfer (EGGT, The Expert Group on Technology Transfer) has been formed in order to improve the implementation of technology transfer in the Technology Transfer Clearing House. The use of technology transfer in CDM projects has also been analyzed by the UN in the report “Analysis of Technology Transfer in CDM Projects ”.
