Tree plantation - new offer from Tricorona

More and more companies want to plant trees as part of a sustainability strategy or just because they want to contribute to sustainable development in Africa.
 
Large parts of African forests are today devastated for timber or to make way for new plantations. For every 28 trees cut down, only one is re-planted, compared to Sweden, where more trees are planted than are cut down.

SDR offers carbon offset direct mail

Since the fall of 2010 SDR offers their customers the ability to choose direct mail services that has been carbon offset. The emissions for the entire process are offset, from production of paper, through printing and distribution to recycling. Swedish Direct mail is the only company that offers services that carbon offset the entire process.
 
SDR carbon offsets in collaboration with Tricorona, and has chosen the biomass project Sri Balaji in India, to do so. Other Gold Standard projects can be chosen in the future.
