SDR offers carbon offset direct mail
SDR works purposefully to reduce their environmental impact from operations, distribution and administration by striving for efficient use of energy and natural resources in the company. Svensk Direktreklam is certified according to ISO 14001 since 2000.
Since the fall of 2010 SDR offers their customers the ability to choose direct mail services that has been carbon offset. The emissions for the entire process are offset, from production of paper, through printing and distribution to recycling. Swedish Direct mail is the only company that offers services that carbon offset the entire process.
SDR carbon offsets in collaboration with Tricorona, and has chosen the biomass project Sri Balaji in India, to do so. Other Gold Standard projects can be chosen in the future.
