Carbon Catalog, a directory and rating agency for carbon offset providers, has awarded Tricorona joint first place in its recent survey of the carbon industry, based on criteria such as environmental integrity, financial and operational transparency, and independent project certification. ENDS, a provider of environmental news, information and intelligence, has included Tricorona as one of only 14 retailers in its list of the best providers of carbon offsets globally, “the ENDS guide to Carbon Offsets 2008”. The ENDS-study assesses criteria such as credibility and project quality, including the range of consultancy services provided by the company. According to the ENDS report, “Tricorona’s strength is in its provision of high-quality CDM CERs to the retail market and its ability to provide added services for other clients.
