  2008-11-27 Tricorona and Fairwater launch GreenSea carbon offsetting service for marine transportationFairwater Marine and Tricorona announced today the launch of GreenSea, www.GreenSea.se, a web-based service that enables shippers to offer carbon neutral sea freight based on offsets from UN-approved renewable energy projects. “Awareness of climate issues has become very widespread, but the shipping sector has to date lacked straightforward mechanisms for offsetting their climate impact.
