![]() ![]() 2009-04-01 Tricorona climate compensates the PostkodLotteriet Climate EventThe PostkodLotteriet Climate Event on April 1:st aims at being a fully climate compensated event. The events climate work is built primarily on efforts to reduce GHG emissions. The remaining climate impact can then be offset using Tricorona’s high quality, UN-certified, Gold Standard carbon reduction projects within renewable energy production. The climate work is monitored and coordinated by Sustainia and Tricorona Climate Partner. The theme of the PostkodLotteriet Climate Event is “Visions of a Low-Carbon World – Moving Forward in the Face of Financial Crisis”. - The Swedish PostkodLotteriet is working actively for a better environment and to reduce climate change. The purpose of the PostkodLotteriet Climate Event is to show solutions and possibilities that can solve the climate issue. In that way the Lottery hopes to create commitment in the fight against climate change, says Niclas Kjellström-Matseke, CEO, PostkodLotteriet.
